History[]

Jasmine had a harder time with the initial bloodlust then most sisters. After three weeks, Carmilla was beginning to consider her a lost cause, but Jasmine perservered and conquered her lust. Regardless, she still feels more of a need to drink blood than the average sister, which contributes to her irritability when hungry. However, she hides this fact about herself, as she fears that her fellow sisters will look down on her because of her constant difficulty with the bloodlust.

Death is Precious[]

Jasmine is notable for being one of the sisters who helped to avert the "Bad Blood" incident in June of 2011. Her ability to "see" magic helped Degna to realize that the issue was the blood they had been drinking, jumpstarting the search for the culprit.

Additionally, she was the greeter during the 2011 Halloween Party. Like her fellow sister Jolene, she was crushed to hear of Degna's death.

Relationships[]

Carmilla[]

Like her sisters, Jasmine loves her mother very much.

Wisteria[]

Jasmine is indifferent in her opinion about Wisteria. She is under orders to indirectly keep an eye on her Queen's use of magic.

Degna[]

Despite not knowing each other for very long, Jasmine came to love Degna just as much as her other sisters. Their kind and loving personalities meshed together very well.

Powers[]

Jasmine has the unique ability to see magic. This extends to the ability to see placed wards as well as more easily following the trajectory of a magical projectile than the average person. Additionally, she is able to see the presence of an enchantment or magical disguise within a person.

She sees magic in the form of colors and patterns, and is capable of determining the nature of a spell based on these traits. However, this is difficult for her and takes a significant amount of time.
